User Tips

Placement and Connection

• Position the pump as close as possible to the water source, but no further than 15 feet away. This minimizes energy loss and optimizes efficiency.
• Connect a 3/4 in. pipe (galvanized or plastic) or a non-collapsible hose to the inlet. Ensure the connection is secure and leak-free.
• Avoid kinking or coiling the inlet hose to maintain unobstructed water flow.
• Consider installing a foot valve between the inlet line and the pump when the intake hose lift exceeds 5 feet. This helps retain priming water and ensures continuous operation.
